[Zohran] Mamdani may not be the shoe-in that the polls suggest.  Looks like his finances are a bit shaky, with lots of stuff about illegal foreign donations to his campaign, etc.  He could be indicted, which could complicate his election campaign.  He is the front runner in the polls, with all his talk of FREE STUFF.  Most voters there do not want [Andrew] Cuomo, and [Curtis] Silwa is running a distant third.  However, Silwa is also the only sensible person on the ticket, and one with a track record of actual concern for the people of NYC.  If NYC is to be salvaged at all, it will need a person like him to do it.

 

They are refusing to disarm - what a shock and surprise.  They also are refusing to return all the bodies of hostages they still hold and actually sent at least one who was NOT a hostage.  Both sides are taking pot shots at each other, so this could flare up again like a wildfire.

 

Meanwhile, Iran is refusing to cooperate on the business of nuclear cooperation and inspection.  They claim it is unfair.  Not a surprise there, either.  This situation is not peace, but just a break in the action.
 

In a total bit of wonderment, we have learned that far left PAC's and NGO's are behind much of the financing of this dog and pony show.  At least 24 PACs and many names you know and love [are donors], including George Soros (and several of his organizations), Invisible Action, Westside Democratic HQ, 504 Democrat Club, College Democrats of America, and even Kamala Harris.  Not to mention 265 other organizations claiming to be charitable, not political.  I saw a more complete listing and may be able to add it later.

 

Thieves made a brazen daylight heist and took the Napoleonic Jewels from this museum.  Pretty clever stuff.  I would not want to be head of security for the museum right now.

 

Trump cut off aid to Columbia saying President [Gustavo] Petro is nothing more than a drug dealer.  Another shock.
 

They are celebrating their 250th birthday also.  They put on a big demonstration of an amphibious landing in California.  Newsom closed I-5 during this, much to the distress of motorists who use this very busy highway.  VP Vance, who I believe is a former Marine, watched the event.  [He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after high school, served for four years, was deployed to Iraq, and achieved the rank of corporal.]  Saw it on TV.  Quite impressive watching all that equipment come in from the sea.

 

She announced that if AOC dares to run for president, she might enter the race herself to compete.  Pretty clear-cut choice there, Megyn is actually intelligent.

 

They sent more than 100 agents to San Francisco to begin operations there.  It is already ugly.  The city is a war zone.  The FBI has already arrested an actual October 7 terrorist living in San Francisco, who was here under a false visa.  This is going to be one big cesspool to clean up.

 

ICE has already arrested 91 truck drivers who are illegals and do not have actual US driver's licenses.  Many had a fake license with 'no name', issued in places like California,

 

They are going to buy 15 more F-35 jets from us to fill out their needs in the near future.

 

Rumor has it that Xi is losing the support of the military.  If that is true, he is toast.

 

This statesman had some of the best sayings in the business.  One was that when governments became too powerful, 'Civil servants were no longer civil, nor servants'.
