Gaza
There is much celebration in Israel over the pending release of the hostages.  Large banners thank Trump for doing what no one else has ever been able to do - broker a peace deal in the middle east.  I hope all of the hostages do come home tomorrow, and that they can be reunited with their families.  I do not expect this truce to last.  None ever has in that part of the world.  But it will give us all a much needed break in the action.

This war has been described by many as a conflict between Good and Evil, as is also our sort of civil war here in the US.  I have heard that Satan's greatest achievement was convincing people that he did not exist.

Portland and Chicago
These cities have gone full kinetic in their opposition to ICE.  The riots are getting [uglier].  Some Antifa leaders listened when the president declared them to be a 'foreign terrorist organization' and fled.  Others took their place.  Those funding this are on notice - especially the Soros groups.  Local thugs are being told to aim lasers at medical helicopters, as well as at agents and military personnel.  This should be treated as attempted murder, and so prosecuted.  Perhaps we are about to see that.  Videos show protesters being hauled around like so much dead weight, as they refuse to walk, etc. after being arrested.  So, it's okay to treat them like sacks of garbage.  If they want to be sacks of garbage, let's toss them out as if they were.

Judges
Looks like Trump made a tactical error in respecting the decisions of local judges.  Some local guy says he controls national policy and international policy, and then both sides go to court and Trump wins, or gets a delayed win.  It would be smarter, I think, if he played offense rather than defense.  He should ignore these local judges and just say they lack jurisdiction.  Then, it is up to the judge to prove that he does have jurisdiction.  That would quickly take the wind out of the sails of this whack-a-mole game.  If Trump stays on defense, they can keep this up forever, over every item.

Happy Birthday !!
The US Navy turns 250 tomorrow.  Seems like just yesterday we celebrated the 175th birthday - in Vietnam.

Johnny Cash
He just had a statue of himself placed in the Capitol Rotunda.  He is the first musician to be so honored.  The 'Man in Black' represents core American values and is a major part of our history.  Now he stands among the other leaders of our nation.

Our local elections begin Tuesday, and so I will be somewhat busy for a while.  Might miss a few days.
